Infographic and information design are effective ways to communicate complex information simply. This includes, to name a few, explaining a complex process or product, how something works, or to express numbers and data trends in more comprehensible ways.

Some samples of information graphic design work completed on a variety of topics and in a variety of illustration styles. Most of the samples shown here come from work done for The Boston Globe. Though my specialty in the graphic front during my years in the news industry was breaking news, most of the infographics depicted here are explanatory graphics — those designed to explain how something works or how something was done.
