Illustrating artwork for a graphic, promotional purposes, or a page design allows one to convey a message in a unique way. The form is used for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you don’t have photographs to illustrate a story, concept, or product. The subject matter may be conceptual. Or, the reason may be more strategic — Some things are better illustrated for a particular purpose or to elecit a speciic tone or feel you seek.

Whatever the reason, the ability to create artwork where the artist can control color, composition, lighting, highlight areas of interest while establishing a visual tone makes them a powerful art form.

The artwork in most of my infographics features a custom illustration. However, few of those are displayed here. Some samples of the illustrations I have created (and saved) done on a broad range of topics and executed in a variety of illustration styles.
