PLEASE NOTE: Content is being added to this section
As a storytelling device, I find multimedia content fascinating. Technically, multimedia is the integration of multiple forms of media. This includes text, graphics, audio, video, and animation, with links and tools that let the user navigate, interact, create, and communicate.
I am intrigued by the impact of adding motion to static artwork, blending different types of media in web pages, and creating motion graphics with After Effects.
Most of the experimentation I am doing these days are in these areas so this will be the section I update more frequently. Some samples of my work below.

Autonodyne, a startup autonomy technology company based in the Seaport District, was ready to broadcast their products and services at a Boston trade show in May 2020. They hired me to design a convention display and create animations and videos for their multimedia displays. In March, midway through the project, the COVID 19 virus officially became a pandemic. The convention and the company promotion were soon postponed. Most of the animations and videos created for the show would end up being rolled into a new website which I later was contracted to work on. All of the mutlimedia content created for Autonodyne:
My siblings and I own a home in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico that we inherited from our parents. We would like to turn it into a vacation rental for family and tourists. Shown are protoypes of the homepage and inside web pages for the yellow section of the homepage where we are marketing some interesting places to visit while anyone is renting the home during a vacation stay.
I created a ton of print and web graphics when I worked at the Boston Globe. Below are links to a few of the web graphics. The Globe has a paywall on their website. I am not sure what the magic number of free previews you can see before they ask you to subscribe. If you want to preview the web graphics pick at least five (may be more).
A few of the slides from a slide deck I created for a pitch to Aurora Flight Services in Cambridge. The ones highlighted here focus on creating a branding program, establishing a look and tone, and examples of the visul program implemented in graphics and animations. A brief storyboard pitching an animation to illustrate the difficulty of programming artificial intelligence is also included. Click on the link above to learn more about the project.
This website, created in 2013, is no longer active. The homepage, the only page I still have wireframes for, is shown here. The purpose of the website was to document the achievements of this up and coming team. Though the soccer team experienced historic success that season, it also dealth with unthinkable human tragedy as they marched into the playoffs. Peruse through the homepage, which captured those events, to appreciate the team’s story.
